The Critical Youth Work Network (established in autumn 2020) has been supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation to support non-formal workforce development across youth work in Northern Ireland. The Network involves training, research, resources, connections, insight and sharing of practice. It is accessible and creates connections, relationships and synergies across a dynamic voluntary youth work sector. The online platform hosts upcoming news and information as a well an online library of youth work resources (research, practical resources and other publications).
YouthAction NI also lead on the EA funded Practice Development Hub which has an online portal of curriculum-based resources from across the breadth of youth work.
An outstanding space that is similar to fellow theatres like the Naughton Studio Lyric, the Baby Grand in the Grand Opera House Belfast. This dynamic theatre space features floor to ceiling mirrors, professional standard lighting and sound and adjustable seating that can fulfil almost all theatrical requirements. The theatre is a 'black box’ space that can transform into almost all theatre styles, making it suitable for full scale productions (seating 100), conferences (150 capacity), events, lectures, movie nights (large screen), presentations festivals.
