Membership
Overview
YouthAction NI is a membership-based, regional organisation, with an 80 year history of working with young people to tackle inequalities in their lives, improving their life chances and contributing to flourishing communities and a peaceful and shared society.
As an established membership-based organisation, we value our local members and provide quality services, information, training and support to many local youth and community groups.
All youth groups and community groups are welcome to our membership network, reflecting the ethos and mission of YouthAction NI while retaining their own identity, purpose and independence.
In 2023, YouthAction formed an alliance with the ACCORD network that works interdependently with other regional youth work organisations to combine efforts and specialisms in working with local clubs and groups to create the best possible conditions for children and young people.
A message from Pamela Ballantine about the YouthAction N.I. Youth Work Support Fund giving 32 small grants to local, member organisations, to help them meet the needs of young people in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
An outstanding space that is similar to fellow theatres like the Naughton Studio Lyric, the Baby Grand in the Grand Opera House Belfast. This dynamic theatre space features floor to ceiling mirrors, professional standard lighting and sound and adjustable seating that can fulfil almost all theatrical requirements. The theatre is a 'black box’ space that can transform into almost all theatre styles, making it suitable for full scale productions (seating 100), conferences (150 capacity), events, lectures, movie nights (large screen), presentations festivals.
